In 2025, The LifeGrain Group proudly strengthened its role as a trusted partner within Sydney’s hospital communities. Operating in some of the country’s busiest healthcare environments, our focus extended beyond food and beverage by delivering meaningful moments of care, recognition and support for healthcare workers, patients, families and frontline responders.
Throughout the year, our teams worked closely with hospital partners to ensure our support reached those who needed it most, directly on the floor and during moments that mattered.
Supporting Healthcare Workers Where It Counts
Across all hospitals we operate in, we delivered free platters directly to wards and departments, ensuring clinical teams, including those unable to leave their posts, felt acknowledged and appreciated.
We proudly celebrated key healthcare milestones, including:
- International Nurses Day with free breakfast boxes, complimentary coffee and muffins, and a week-long buy-one-get-one-free hand roll offer at Tsubu Sushi
- International Women’s Day with free filtered coffee at Plume Café (Prince of Wales Hospital), free muffins for midwives at Royal Hospital for Women, and coffee vouchers for hospital staff
- Crazy Socks for Docs, offering free coffee to doctors across all LifeGrain Café locations
- World Social Workers Day through sponsorship support at SESLHD
- Perioperative Nurses Day with complimentary coffee across participating hospitals
Promoting Wellbeing, Awareness and Connection
Just like previous years, we continued to actively support health and wellbeing awareness campaigns across our hospital network, using our stores as platforms for positive change. Initiatives included:
- R U OK? Day, with buy-one-get-one-free coffee at LifeGrain Cafés and free house made cookies at Plume Café locations to promote meaningful conversations
- Promotion of Donate Life across all stores
- Support of World Breastfeeding Day at Liverpool Hospital
- Free coffee vouchers for Medsafety Week (NSLHD) at Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital
Supporting Patients, Families and Carers
Our commitment extended beyond staff to patients, families and carers through a range of sponsorships and community initiatives, including:
- Coffee and tea sponsorship for Sydney Children’s Hospital Patients’ Graduation Day
- Support for Carer’s Week at Sutherland Hospital
- Free coffee vouchers for Carers Gateway
- World Prematurity Day support through free catered lunches at Royal Hospital for Women and coffee vouchers for NICU staff
Showing Up in Moments of Crisis
In December, following the Bondi Beach incident, we supported first respondents through sponsored catering platters and provided food and coffee vouchers to affected families and friends in partnership with the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation. In our own way, we aimed to offer practical support during a challenging time for the community.
Celebrating the Season of Giving
To close the year, we delivered Christmas breakfast and Christmas Day lunches for staff, patients and families at Prince of wales Hospital, Royal Hosptial for Women and Sydney Children’s Hospital, ensuring those working or receiving care on Christmas Day felt recognised and supported.
Our Ongoing commitment
Our hope is that every initiative delivered in 2025 reflects The LifeGrain Groups commitment to being more than a service provider. We are proud to stand alongside healthcare communities, supporting those who care for others through everyday moments and meaningful action.
And as we look ahead, we remain committed to creating positive impact. One cup of coffee, one meal and one community at a time.
