It’s been another exciting and rewarding period for The LifeGrain Group, and we all have plenty to be proud of.

This year marks a very special milestone for LifeGrain: 10 years of being part of the hospital community. What began as a vision to bring consistently good food, great coffee and a sense of comfort into hospitals has grown into a group that now spans multiple locations and, most importantly, a wonderful team of people.

This quarter saw the opening of Plume Café at St George Hospital, a particularly significant milestone in our journey since St George is where we opened our first hospital site 10 years ago. It was also wonderful to bring our managers together for our Annual Leadership Meeting — an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate our achievements and look ahead to where we are going next.

Our LifeGrain Family

While there is much to celebrate, this quarter also reminded us of the importance of looking beyond our own four walls and supporting one another, particularly when our people and their families face difficult times. We are mindful that some within our LifeGrain family have experienced loss and hardship in different ways, and we want them to know that they are not alone.

We want to partculary acknowledge the devastating events in Nepal. Many members of our LifeGrain family are from Nepal, and our thoughts and prayers are especially with those who have family and friends affected.

It is moments like these that remind us that LifeGrain is about much more than the places we operate. It is about our people, the communities we are part of and the way we come together to support one another.

Growing Together & Looking ahead

The LifeGrain Group continues to grow, with our LifeGrain Café, Plume Café and Tsubu Sushi brands now operating across many locations throughout Sydney.

As we continue to expand, new opportunities will naturally arise for our people; whether that’s developing new skills, taking on greater responsibility or progressing into management and leadership roles. We’re excited about what’s ahead and, wherever possible, want our people to grow alongside the business.

As always, the strength of our people and the way we support one another makes our group special, and we look forward to finishing the year together with plenty to celebrate.
