Winter 2026 · A running record of what shipped across the Group and each retail brand, the numbers behind it, and the resources your store needs on hand.
Work that ran across all three brands this Winter.
"Unfortunately, people still judge a book by its cover, so you'd better work on your online reputation."
Great job to the following stores for hugely improving their online reputation scores this Winter:
| Store | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Plume Cafe SCH | 17 reviews | 69 reviews · 4.8★ |
| Plume Cafe HPH | 2 reviews | 30 reviews · 5★ |
| Plume Cafe St George (new opening) | New store | 53 reviews · 5★ |
| LifeGrain ASB | 16 reviews | 32 reviews · 4.7★ |
The camera doesn't lie, but it does need someone willing to stand in front of it. The people who show up for our online content aren't just being good sports; they're doing the quiet work of turning strangers into regulars, one familiar face at a time.
In hospital environments, faces build trust faster than copy does. Recognising the people who show up on camera also tells the wider team that this is part of the job worth doing well.
This Winter, Marketing delivered and distributed collateral across all stores announcing that the Hospital Staff Discount (up to 10%, unchanged from before) is now accessed by registering for each brand's loyalty program.
The St George opening, and how combos are changing what a beverage sale looks like.
We kept the relationship warm afterward by identifying top VIP members and rewarding them with special prizes sourced directly from our suppliers.
Plume runs primarily on a beverage sales model, so attaching a food item to every sale is a small win with a big compounding effect. It's a habit change for customers too, moving from "just a coffee" to "a coffee and something small." Because really, some things just go better together.
Breakfast All Day keeps growing its share of the basket.
| Period | Sales | Category share |
|---|---|---|
| May–June | $195,723.89 | 9.7% |
| July–August | $212,681.70 | 10.04% |
That's steady, compounding growth rather than a one-off spike. Day-part data (whether customers are now buying breakfast items outside traditional breakfast hours) isn't available to us yet; once it is, we'll share what it shows.
In the meantime, keep leveraging the combos we've designed: they're not just driving sales, they're building repeat-customer habits over time.
Sushi Society membership, and where to keep pushing.
A huge leap from where we stood previously. In a much shorter window, Sushi Society has already more than doubled our old full-year total. That said, there's still ground to cover. Stores can do better: keep signing people up every chance you get.
