On Christmas Day 2024, we proudly served over 700 complimentary Christmas lunches to hospital staff across these three facilities and to patients and families at Sydney Children’s Hospital. It was our way of saying: we see you, we appreciate you, and you deserve to be nourished too.
A Partnership Rooted in Purpose
This isn’t a marketing campaign. It’s a tradition.
Since opening our LifeGrain Barker Street location, we’ve worked closely with the Prince of Wales Hospital Campus executive teams to bring their initiative to life each year, ensuring staff on shift during Christmas feel supported, recognised and celebrated.
Together, we’ve created a system that works:
✅ Executively approved
✅ Voucher-based for smooth collection
✅ Seamlessly coordinated with hospital teams
✅ Delivered with the kind of care we’re known for
A Menu Crafted for Everyone
Our culinary team created three festive meal sets that catered to dietary needs without compromising on flavour.
The menu included:
Maple & Mustard Glazed Ham (Gluten & Dairy Free)
Rosemary & Cranberry Chicken (Halal, GF & DF)
Maple Glazed Eggplant (Vegan, Vegetarian, GF, DF & Halal)
Kid’s Boxes and Vegan dessert options on request
Each set was accompanied by a bread roll, dessert, and bottled water—no shortcuts, no compromises, just care in every detail.
Designed for Simplicity. Delivered with Care.
To make the process easy, we implemented a voucher system so recipients could collect their lunch with zero hassle. No waiting, no fuss, just a seamless experience designed around the rhythm of the hospital.
This detail, though small, made all the difference in the day.
Feeding a Culture of Gratitude
At LifeGrain, we believe food has the power to do more than satisfy hunger.
It can uplift, comfort, and create moments of human connection, especially in places where it’s needed most.
We’re proud to have served these incredible teams. And we’ll continue doing it—because showing up for the people who show up for everyone else?
That’s what we’re here for.
Thank you to the staff who spent their Christmas caring for others. We hope our meals brought a little warmth to your day.
Until next year, with even more seats at the table.
