Combo’s Promotions
Over the last few months we have been spotlighting combos in both brands, but with an increased focus on coffee + grab n go food with the Lifegrain brand along with cold beverage spotlight. The primary goal of this was to try and influence customer behaviour and convert our customers simply buying a coffee to add one of our food options as well.
Christmas Lunch @ LifeGrain Barker St
Of course on Christmas day we had our distinguished Christmas Lunch at Lifegrain Barker St. This year we did a record number of lunches (over 700!) and each year the operation becomes smoother. Big thanks to Jarek and the team for providing this fantastic service to our hospital staff every Christmas day, and to Jess, Satoshi and the kitchen team for making all the delicious food.
LifeGrain Liverpool Facelift
Over the past few months we have been working hard to revamp our LifeGrain Liverpool outdoor dining and coffee experience. We repurposed the Garrawarra coffee cart to Liverpool to uplift the customer experience from the front of the cafe and drive coffee trade. Big thanks to Casey for being flexible and adapting to all our changes!
Michael’s shout-out for the quarter.
I want to give a big shout-out to our LifeGrain Sutherland manager Jenny. She has grown tremendously over the last few quarters, and the cafe has been experiencing fantastic results. She’s been smashing records with ops audits and my inbox is being bombarded with all her 5-star reviews! Great work Jen!!
Operational Knowledge Bits
Visitng stores I think our biggest work on is cold beverage production. Please follow build cards correctly specifically with ingredient orders. Liquids should be poured in jugs first to be measured accurately and produce the correct yield!

Michael brings over a decade of hospitality experience, having worked with companies like Thrive and managing his own venture, Vibe Wholefoods.
He excels in multi-site management, startup growth, and operational leadership. Reporting to Cliff, his role focuses on operational excellence, compliance, procedure development and supporting site managers and staff to ensure top-notch customer experiences.
Additionally, Michael holds a Master of Exercise Science from ECU.
